Back to School Drive - help kids start the school year off right!
We need your help! Kids on the Gulf Coast of Florida will be returning to school in mid-August and many can't afford to buy the list of supplies the teachers send home. That's where we step in! The #FloridaHomeGirls and #Compass are teaming up with Safe Children Coalition for their Back to School Drive.
Option1 - Send us money!
Any amount will help. We will then go shopping and purchase the items needed.
Please send money securely either by Venmo, Zelle, or check (or cash in person). Contact any of the Florida Home Girls for your easiest way to share money. We will shop on your behalf and send you a receipt of what we bought with your contribution!
Option 2 - Go shopping!
Next time you're on Amazon, or at the store, purchase any of the items listed here and let us know you have them. We can come and get them from you - or you can drop them off at our homes!
Rosedale residents: A box has been placed at the clubhouse. Be sure to get your donations there before Friday, July 12th.
River Wilderness residents: A box has been placed on Jen’s front porch - address 3301 Wilderness Blvd. W. Feel free to bring your items by anytime.
Option 3 - Come to our Fundraising Event!
We are rolling out the Fundraising Red Carpet at our Compass office on Saturday, July 13th from 10-1pm . Stop by and bring your donated items (or money!) - and enjoy complimentary food, drinks, and a morning of fun downtown Sarasota.
This is such as easy way to make sure a young child starts the school year off right. There is nothing better as a kid then opening that new box of crayons, sharpening that new pencil, or breaking in the new binder (or in our day, the old trapper keeper!)
